Fall 2021 at SUNY Cortland and COVID 19

Returning to SUNY Cortland

Are you excited to be coming back to campus this fall? We are, and I hope you are too! It must feel so great to be able to sit in your classes in front of a professor with all of your classmates again. With COVID, we never really know what will happen next but here is what you can expect when returning to campus this fall.

Even if you will be staying in one of our affordable student apartments near SUNY Cortland, this all applies to everyone. All students are required to be fully vaccinated or be approved for a medical or religious exemption before returning. This includes any students also living in student apartments for rent in Cortland. With the Pfizer vaccine now being FDA approved, it will make people more comfortable with taking it. We all need to care about each other and practice safety. If you can, getting the vaccine will help protect people who are not able to get it.

We don’t have to miss out on a good time

Even with the health restrictions that come with COVID, we don’t have to miss out on having a good time. We will be following all COVID guidelines in all of our apartments for rent in Cortland, but you will still be able to enjoy the freedom of living off-campus. The apartments have almost everything you need, and we strive to make sure they are up to federal health standards.

We have 24/7 maintenance for all of our affordable student rentals near SUNY Cortland to address your needs and concerns. Individual keyed doors included with every bedroom will ensure that no one can come in and touch your things without your permission. Even when you are living in a student apartment for rent in Cortland with other people, there are still ways to prevent the spread of COVID amongst each other. If you want to continue having a good time, we all must do our part to prevent COVID from spreading even more.

Take it seriously

With the vaccine and other restrictions in place, it makes it easier to return to a semi-normal pre-pandemic life. However, we should and do still take it seriously. What can we do on a daily basis to stay healthy this school year? Basic hygiene should be practiced regularly and social distancing should be implemented in public situations where there are large crowds of people.

Staying Clean and Healthy Off-campusPlease keep this in mind when moving into student apartments for rent near SUNY Cortland. SUNY will be taking it seriously, and so should everyone else. With all of the money you will be saving living off-campus in our affordable student rentals near SUNY Cortland, you will be able to stock up on cleaning and disinfecting supplies to ensure that all surfaces are clean and disinfected.
